Landscape was designed using sustainable landforms, which resembled the olden landscapes and the plants used are all local specious, for easy maintenance without pesticides. The water edge of this old boat building yard is restored to its natural state by providing lateritic boulders to enable hideouts to enhance the breeding of fish, crabs and supporting living organisms. The plants used at the water edge include a few species of mangrove to recover the ecological systems. The trees, shrubs, and turf were selected to suit the natural local ambience and the host and nectar plants for butterflies and fruit trees to feed the birds and squirrels.
