ITINERARY
Day: 01: Cochin – Thekkady
You are greeted on arrival at the Cochin Airport /Railway station by our representative and transfer you to the Hotel/resort at Thekkay. Throughout this journey you can enjoy different types of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, etc. On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel. After taking some rest, go for Boating in the Periyar Lake, one of the popular tourist attractions.Evening you are lucky to avail, Kathakali The traditional dance performance, Spice plantation Tour and Ayurvedic massage. Overnight stay in Hotel at Thekkady.
Day: 02: Thekkady – Vandanmedu – Thekkady
Morning after breakfast we will proceed to Vandanmedu. The place is also known as the land of cardamom. Visit the world’s largest auction center for cardamom. Go for a walk through the lovely plantations to get that stimulating feeling. Evening return to the Hotel/resort and stay overnight at Thekkady.
Day: 03: Gavi
Morning after breakfast, check out from the Hotel and we will proceed to Gavi which is situated in Vandipaeriyar near Thekkady in Idukki district. Upon arrival at Gavi, check into the Hotel/resort. Take some rest and go for Trekking. Boating through the Periyar Lake will give a charm feeling. After enjoying the flora and fauna of Gavi come back to Hotel and stay overnight.
Day: 04: Houseboat
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel/resort and proceed to Alleppey where at about 12.00 noon you can check in to the much awaited houseboat. Cruising in a House Boat through the back waters of Kerala is the fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwaters, rivers and canals. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and breakfast will be served on board. Enjoy your evening on the sun decked sand and shore. Overnight stay at House Boat will be a unique experience. (Air conditioner in the houseboat will be on only from 09 P.M. to 06 A.M.
Day: 05: Departure
Finally the day has come we have to say bye – - – Please have the breakfast before you check out of the houseboat at 09:00 hrs. We transfer you from the Houseboat to the airport / railway station at Cochin. (If time permit you are lucky to visit Alleppey Beach, Cochin Marine Drive)
