LOCATION Munnar is famous for it’s vast areas of mist-shrouded tea properties and wild natural charm. It is basically a tea city 130 km to the eastern of Kochi with an elevation which range from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea stage. The closest air-ports are at Kochi and Madurai while railroad tracks run up to Kochi and Aluva, but the road less visited makes for the best trip of them all.
CLIMATE
The weather in Munnar is enjoyable. Summertime (April-June) is light while winter seasons (November-February) are awesome and the south westerly monsoon down pours in June-August making Munnar considerably chilly than normal. You should bring along some heated outfits to defeat the cool. However, the best environment in Munnar is, without doubt, from Oct to March.
