Day 01: Wayanad
Arrive at Calicut / Kozhikode International airport or the railway station, our representative will take you to Wayanad (about 4 hrs’ drive). You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales. On your arrival at Vythiri / Kalpetta, you are cordially led into the leisure of the hotel room. Day 02: Wayanad
In the morning, after breakfast you will visit Chembra Peak 2100 Mts above MSL. It is the highest peak in the district of Wayanad and is ideal for trekking. Climbing its peak is a challenging venture in mountaineering. From here you can take a full day scenic beauty of Wayanad. Another fascinating tourist attraction is the Neelimala View Point which is closer to Vaduvanchal. Neelimala is an excellent venue for trekking with lots of inspiring trails. We then proceed further to the adjacent valley, the fascinating and breathtaking Meenmutty water falls, and the 2-km jungle tramp off the main Ooty road. These are really amazing to anyone who beholds them because you are watching the largest and the most amazing waterfall in Wayanad. Day 03: Wayanad
In the morning, after breakfast you are off for a full day local sightseeing during which you will be led to the famous Edakkal caves-12 kms from Sulthan Bathery. There are three (3) caves located at a height of 1000 mts on Ambukuthi mala near Ambalavayal. The new Stone Age pictographic writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are the indication of the civilizations that existed in the regions in the pre-historic times. Chethalayam Falls: Chethalayam is one of the most attractive waterfalls in Wayanad. Its surroundings offer a number of vantage points for bird-watching. It is also popular with trekking enthusiasts. Day 04: Wayanad
In the morning, after breakfast, check out from hotel and you proceed to ‘The Cultural Capital of Karnataka’-Mysore (115kms / 3hrs) about 770 m above the sea Level, On arrival at Mysore, check in to hotel. In the afternoon, as the sun sets beyond the Western Ghats, visit the musical fountains and colored lights and savor every moment of it. Over-night will be stay at hotel.
Day 05: Mysore
In the morning, proceed to Mysore for some local sight seeing during which you will visit Srirangapatna which was Tippu’s Summer Palace. St. Philomena’s church and world famous Brindavan Gardens which is mainly a terrace garden lying out instantly behind the Krishnaraja Sagar dam site. The Department of Horticulture had started the work of laying out this garden in 1927. It was then called the Krishnarajendra Terrace Garden. Today, the garden covers over an area of 60 acres and is laid out in three terraces in a horseshoe shape. The slopes are planted with colorful Bougainvilleas and ornamental plants. Overnight stay at the Mysore hotel.
Day 06: Ooty
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to Ooty (155kms/4hrs). Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is the “Blue Mountains”and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. It is located at an altitude of 2,245 meters above sea level. Its way through many hair-raising curves, fearful tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation, small streams and tea gardens. On your arrival at Ooty check in to the hotel and evening proceed to Coonoor (1839 meters) 19 km from Ooty. Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris. It is surrounded by tea plantations, coupled with ravines, valleys, and waterfalls. A popular leisure here is bird watching. Coonoor is famous for variety of wildflowers and birds, like cormorants, pipits, thrushes, parakeets, skylarks, Nilgiri verditer vultures, eagles and owls, song birds, bulbuls, , babblers, larks cuckoos, robins and several others. Day 07: Ooty
