Day 01: Wayanad

Honeymoon Package to Wayanad Coorg starts on your arrival at Calicut / Kozhikode International airport or the railway station, our representative will take you to Wayanad (about 4 hrs’ drive). You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales. Day 02: Wayanad

In the morning, after breakfast you will visit Chembra peak 2100 Mts above MSL. It is the highest peak in the district of Wayanad and is ideal for trekking. Climbing its peak is a challenging venture in mountaineering. From here you can take a full day scenic beauty of Wayanad. Another fascinating tourist attraction is The Neelimala View Point which is closer to Vaduvanchal. Neelimala is an excellent venue for trekking with lots of inspiring trails.We then proceed further to the adjacent valley, the fascinating and breathtaking Meenmutty Water Falls, and the 2-km jungle tramp off the main Ooty road. These are really amazing to anyone who beholds them because you are watching the largest and the most amazing waterfall in Wayanad. You are off to an overnight stay at the hotel with the memory of this unforgettable landscape gently singing a lullaby to invite you into the arms of sleep.

Day 03: Wayanad

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Edakkal Caves-12 kms from Sultan Bathery. There are three caves located at a height of about 1000 mts on Ambukuthi Mala near Ambalavayal. These are the testimonials of the various culture and civilizations that had existed there in the pre-historic periods. Chethalayam Falls is another small water fall in Wayanad. Its background offers you amazing scenes. It is also popular among the trekking enthusiasts. Muniyaras- Excavations at various points around the foot of the Ambukuthi Hill have unearthed a distinctive series of ancient burials vaults generally called Muniyaras. Have a peep into those ancient graves and pay homage to those great souls buried in history.You are entering the Wayanad Wild Life Sanctuary at Muthanga. Established in 1973, the Wayanad Wild Life sanctuary is contiguous to the protected area network of Nagarhole and Bandipur of Karnataka and Muthumalai of TamilNadu. Over-night will be stay at the Resort.

Day 04: Wayanad

In the morning, after breakfast you will visit the Sentinal Rock Waterfalls about 22 kms south of Kalpetta near Chooralmala. It is a very popular leisure destination. Kanthanpara Water Falls-(about 30 mts in height) is located about 22 kms to the south-east of Kalpetta and 8 kms east of Meppadi. It is yet another attractive waterfall in store for you. Banasura sagar project- Situated at Padinjarathara, although, less frequented by the locals for their leisurely outings, is a pleasant tourist friendly environmental site. Here you can view a mini hydel project with the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia. Jain Temple at Puliyarmala – 4 kms north of Kalpetta is an old temple dedicated to Ananthanatha Swami. Over-night will be stay at hotel.

Day 05: Wayanad-Coorg

In the morning, after breakfast you will proceed to Coorg (100kms), You will be delighted with the mesmerizing sight of hills, caves hiding some secrets of the past, lakes reflecting the surrounding lustrous forests, small streams and miniature water falls caressing the hills and dales.On your arrival at Coorg, you are cordially led into the leisure of the hotel room. Later, visit the spectacular Abbi Falls which is a must visit location during tours to Coorg. Proceed a bit further and you will find the Raj’s Seat from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the misty Coorg valley. Stay for the night at the hotel.

Day 06: Coorg

In the morning, after breakfast you will proceed to Talcauvry (the source of River Cauvery) and Bhagamandala (the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river). Later visit the ancient temple and in the evening, go to Madikeri town and enjoy shopping for honey, coffee and spices as souvenirs of your travel to Coorg. Gandhi Mantap is a memorial to the father of the nation built at the site where Mahatma Gandhi sat and addressed the people of Madikeri during his visit in 1932.Over-night will be stay at hotel.

Day 07: Coorg- Kozhikode

In the morning, after breakfast, check out of your hotel room and proceed to the Rajiv Gandhi National Park at Nagarhole. It is the best place to enjoy game screening for the rest of the day. Try your luck spotting the ferocious tiger. In the afternoon proceed to Kozhikode and stay at a hotel there.

Day 08: Kozhikode

In the morning, after break fast, check out from hotel and proceed to Calicut visiting Pazhassiraja Museum & Art Gallery which is about 5 Km away from the town. This historical art gallery displays historic bronzes, coins, megalithic relics, murals and paintings by artists from various parts of Kerala. Mananchira Square is in the heart of Kozhikode. It surrounds Mananchira tank which was used to be the private bath of the Samuthiris in the past. On the Kappad Beach one can witness a small stone monument paying the highest regard to Vasco da Gama’s arrival to India 1498 A.D.Calicut Beach: There is an old lighthouse and two crumbling hundred-year-old piers running into the sea. Lions Park and the Marine Water Aquarium are other places to visit on the beach. If time permits you can visit another beach – famous Beypore Beach which is about 10 Km away from Kozhikode. There is a traditional boat-building yard in this area. Over-night will be stay at hotel.

Day 09: Departure

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Calicut/Kozhikode airport/railway station to board your flight/train. As you go home let the ever-relishing memory of Gods own Country remain in your mind.
